RDA Academy
Brenda Lomas, Lead RDA Trainer
Founded by Brenda Lomas, a seasoned dental professional with over 20 years of experience, the 7 to 7 Dental Academy is dedicated to transforming the lives of aspiring dental assistants. Recognizing the high cost of dental education, our academy was created to provide a practical, accessible pathway into the dental field without the burden of nearly $20,000 in tuition fees.
“At the beginning of my dental career, my “lead” did not want to take the time to teach me how to be a capable RDA. I struggled for a bit, paying attention to what the doctors and other assistants were doing, not wanting to give up on my career. Once I mastered my assisting skills I decided to teach instead of gatekeeping. Someone can go to dental assistant school, learn the textbook portion or go online to become registered but hands on experience with guidance and high expectations for patient care is the best way to become a mastery RDA. I take great pride in being an RDA and am happy to share my knowledge and skills to those who want to learn. Working alongside the team of lead RDAs and OMs, 7 to 7 has given me the opportunity to help mold and level up new awesome teams of RDAs.” - Brenda Lomas

It's understandable to question how our program differs from more traditional RDA schools, especially when it seems too good to be true. Here’s how the 7 to 7 Dental Academy stands apart:
Cost and Financial Accessibility: Unlike many traditional RDA schools that charge nearly $20,000 in tuition, our academy offers a completely tuition-free education. We recognize the financial barriers that many face and aim to make dental assistant training accessible to all who are passionate and committed to the field. Instead of students incurring debt, they are paid to learn during their training.
Guaranteed Employment: Our program includes a unique feature that sets us apart—upon completion of the course, graduates are guaranteed a career offer. This means that not only do you receive comprehensive training, but you also have a clear pathway to employment, eliminating the stress and uncertainty of job searching after graduation.
Real-World Experience: Our training emphasizes hands-on skills that are directly applicable to working alongside hygienists and doctors. While traditional schools often focus heavily on theoretical aspects, we ensure that our students gain practical, real-world experience that is immediately relevant and useful in their future roles.
Industry Expertise: The academy was founded by Brenda Lomas, a dental professional with over 20 years of experience. Her deep understanding of the industry and its needs informs our curriculum, ensuring that training is both relevant and high-quality.

To ensure the highest quality of training and personalized attention, each semester at the 7 to 7 Dental Academy is limited to a maximum of 4 students. This small class size allows us to provide a very hands-on learning environment and ample one-on-one time with instructors.
By keeping our student numbers low, we can offer tailored support and more effective instruction, helping you to perform better and learn more efficiently. This focused approach contrasts with larger classrooms, where individual attention might be limited. Our goal is to ensure that each student receives the guidance and practical experience necessary to excel as a Registered Dental Assistant.
